the worst natural disaster I've ever heard of...

Yahoo! News - Tsunami Kills 22,000 in Nine Countries

There may have been worse, but not in my lifetime. Unbelievable. Unfathomable, the number of people dead from this deep ocean earthquake and resulting tsunami.

Want to help? You can. Donate to the International Red Cross. They need all the help they can get...this is going to be a massive undertaking.

According to your biographical data you are 37, that means that your lifetime includes November 1970 when the Bangladesh cyclone killed 300,000 to 500,000 people. You were also already born when the Chinese earthquake of 1976 killed 225,000.

The recent Tsunami was certainly bad, but definitely not the worst natural disaster in your lifetme.
