Tomorrow I step down as Princess of the Mists. I find I'm more nervous about this than I was about stepping up. Are my gifts ok? Will I cry? Did we do ok?Even though it really was Leohtulf's reign and I was kind of secondary, I still take responsibility for my part of the reign...I just hope we're remembered well, if not fondly.
I know we had fun. There were bumps, but I think we did all right. We did the best we could, and that's what's important.
Cradle of kingdoms, we were proud to rule, if only for a short while.
